In its purest form, what does a virtual corporation lack?

1. In the purest form of the concept, each company linking up with others is stripped to its essence. 2. Ideally the virtual corporation has neither a central office nor an organization chart, no hierarchy, and no vertical integration. 3. It contributes only its core competencies and mixes them with those of other companies and entrepreneurs. 4. Partner firms are the whole basis of the network, so they cannot be missing. 5. Information technology is what links the partners, so it cannot be absent either. 6.
