Terms & Conditions

Qallery (qallery.app), operated by Ingenii Digitalization LLP.
Last updated: 13 August 2026

Please read these terms carefully before using Qallery. By continuing to use the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Qallery (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Description of Service

Qallery is a social, user-generated learning platform. Any user — students and educators alike — can create an account, post multiple-choice questions (MCQs), upload documents and photos to generate questions, build question banks, take and create assessments and live quizzes, generate flash cards, practise from a personalised public feed, and share content via links or QR codes. Most questions and study content on Qallery are created by our users. The Service includes web and mobile applications.

3. Eligibility

The Service is intended for learners in Class 8 and above (or the equivalent stage of secondary education in your country), and for educators, wherever in the world you access it from. You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account, and if the law where you live sets a higher minimum age for using a service like this without parental consent, that higher age applies to you instead. If you are under 18 (or the age of majority in your country, if lower), you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian to use the Service, and we may ask you to confirm that consent. Visitors may browse a limited preview of the public feed anonymously without an account. We do not require an email address or phone number to create an account; you may optionally add one later so that your account can be recovered, but it is never required to use the Service.

4. Account, Handle and PIN

Your account is identified by a handle and secured by a numeric PIN that you choose. You are responsible for keeping your PIN secret and for everything done using your handle and PIN. Do not share your PIN with classmates, friends, siblings, or anyone else, and do not let another person use your account. Activity carried out with your handle and PIN is treated as your activity. Qallery will never ask you for your PIN — not by message, email, call, or in person. Anyone who asks for it is not from Qallery.

5. Sharing Your PIN — Your Responsibility

If you share your PIN, write it somewhere others can see it, or allow another person to use your account, we are not responsible for what follows. This includes: another person seeing or changing your information; loss or alteration of your rating, XP, coins, rewards, streaks, or content; entries made on leaderboards or in contests under your name; purchases made from your account; or your account being suspended because of what that person did. Many of our users share a phone or computer with family — always sign out when you have finished on a shared or public device. If you believe someone else knows your PIN, change it immediately in Settings and write to business@ingeniidigital.com. Nothing in this section limits any right you have under applicable law that cannot be waived by agreement.

6. Account Recovery — Please Read Carefully

If you set a recovery question and answer, you can use them to reset your PIN. Keep that answer as private as your PIN: anyone who knows it can reset your PIN and take over your account, so do not choose an answer your classmates already know. We do not require an email address or phone number for these accounts. That means if you forget your handle, forget your PIN, and cannot answer your recovery question, we may have no reliable way to confirm the account is yours, and access may not be recoverable. Please save the recovery details shown to you when you set your PIN, and keep them somewhere only you can find.

7. Credits and Payments

Certain features (such as AI-powered question extraction from PDFs) require credits. You receive free credits on signup. Additional credit packs can be purchased through the app via Razorpay. Credits never expire. All purchases are final and non-refundable unless required by applicable law. Pricing is displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) by default and in your local currency where the app supports it for your region; the amount charged is whatever currency is shown to you at checkout.

8. Your Content

You retain full ownership of all content you upload, create, or generate using the Service — documents, notes, photos, questions, options, solutions, tags, and any text you author on your profile. By using the Service, you grant Qallery a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, process, store, reproduce, display, and transmit your content as necessary to operate and improve the Service. You represent that you have the right to upload everything you submit and that it does not infringe any third-party intellectual property or other rights.

9. Public Posts and Sharing

Qallery is a SOCIAL feed. When you post a question or upload notes that generate questions, those questions are PUBLIC by default — they appear in other users' reels, in Search results, on your public profile (/u/yourId), and they can be shared via deep links by any viewer. Your display name, profile photo, level, accuracy percentage, day streak, and post counts are also visible to other users. You can delete any individual question you posted from your profile at any time; you can delete your entire account from Settings. We do not currently offer a private-only mode — if you do not want a piece of content to be public, do not post it to the feed. Anonymous browsing (without sign-in) is also public in the sense that other anonymous users can see the same content you see; nothing you do while signed out is attributed to a profile until you sign in.

10. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful educational purposes. You must not: (a) upload content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, defamatory, or infringes intellectual property rights — including questions copied from a source you do not have the right to redistribute; (b) impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity; (c) attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts, the leaderboard, the XP system, or our systems; (d) use the Service to distribute spam, malware, or unsolicited advertising; (e) collect or scrape data about other users; (f) reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute the Service or its components. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate this section without prior notice.

11. Reporting Content and Takedowns

If you believe a question, profile, or any other content on Qallery infringes your copyright or other intellectual property rights, or is otherwise harmful, abusive, or in breach of the Acceptable Use rules, you may report it by emailing business@ingeniidigital.com with: (a) a description of the content and its location on Qallery (e.g. the share link or question ID); (b) your contact details; (c) for copyright claims, a statement that you are the rights-holder or authorised to act for them, and that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised. We review reports within 7 business days and may remove content, suspend accounts, or restore content if a counter-notice is provided. Repeated infringers will be banned.

12. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence in two distinct ways, and both are described here. First, for content YOU create: we extract questions from documents you upload, generate new MCQs from your notes, write solutions for questions whose source did not include one, and pick relevant hashtags. You are responsible for reviewing and editing your questions before posting (the Review step is provided for this) and for verifying any solution before relying on it. Second, and separately, much of the study material published by Qallery itself is prepared with the assistance of artificial intelligence. Our systems read published educational sources and other reference material and produce practice questions, solutions, explanations, mini-games, lessons, flash cards and audio or video summaries from them. This material is then labelled against a course, subject and topic so that it can be shown to the right learners. You should understand the following about that material. It is generated by software and is not individually written or checked by a subject expert before it appears. It may contain factual errors, incorrect answers, flawed or invented reasoning, mistranslations, and errors introduced when reading a source document. It may simplify, paraphrase or depart from the source it was prepared from. The course, subject and topic labels are our own classification and are a matter of judgement: material shown under a course may not match the syllabus, board, edition, paper pattern or marking scheme that applies to you, may go beyond it, or may omit parts of it, and syllabuses change without us knowing. Accordingly, the study material on Qallery is provided for practice only. It is NOT a substitute for your official syllabus, your prescribed textbooks, your teachers, or any official material published by an examination authority, board, university or regulator, and you should treat those sources as authoritative wherever they differ from anything you see here. Do not rely on Qallery as your only preparation for any examination, and verify anything that matters before you depend on it. We make no promise, warranty or guarantee of any kind that the material is accurate, complete, current, suitable for your course, or sufficient to pass any examination, and we do not guarantee any particular result, rank, score or outcome. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Qallery is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on AI-generated or AI-assisted content, including any examination result. Nothing in this section limits any right you have under applicable law that cannot be waived by agreement. If you find something wrong, please report it using the report option on the item or write to business@ingeniidigital.com. We review reports and correct or remove material, and reporting errors genuinely helps every other learner using it.

13. Gamification (XP, Levels, Streaks, Leaderboard)

The Service includes engagement features — experience points (XP), levels, day streaks, accuracy percentages, and a leaderboard. These reflect your activity on the Service and are visible on your public profile and the global leaderboard. They have no monetary value and may not be exchanged, sold, or transferred. We may adjust XP awards, the level curve, and leaderboard mechanics at any time. We may reset or remove gamification data for accounts that abuse the system (e.g., automated answering).

14. Service Availability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service with reasonable notice where possible. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Qallery and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Qallery, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

17. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms (including Acceptable Use), to comply with law, or for prolonged inactivity. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases and your content may be removed. We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., fraud prevention) for the period strictly necessary.

18. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, features, and branding, is owned by Ingenii Digitalization LLP and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or other proprietary materials.

19. Open-Source Software

The Service uses various open-source software components in its applications and infrastructure, each under its respective licence. A full list of open-source components and their licences is available upon request.

20. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
