Resolution limit of a telescope by Rayleigh criterion:

Aθ = λ/d
Bθ = 1.22 λ/d (d = aperture)
Cθ = λ²/d
Dθ = d/λ
Answer & Solution
Correct answer: B. θ = 1.22 λ/d (d = aperture)
Two point sources are just resolved when angular separation θ = 1.22 λ/d. Larger aperture gives better resolution. Same formula applies to a circular aperture telescope.
