Correct answer: A. 80%
1. First find the share of oranges: 5 out of 25.
2. As a percentage that is 5 / 25 x 100 = 20 per cent.
3. The basket holds only apples and oranges, so the two percentages must add to 100.
4. So apples make up 100 - 20 = 80 per cent.
5. Answering 20 per cent is answering the wrong half of the question.
