সীমানা পুনর্নির্ধারণ কমিশন হলো আধা-বিচার বিভাগীয় সংস্থা যা আদমশুমারির তথ্যের ভিত্তিতে লোকসভা ও বিধানসভা নির্বাচনী এলাকার সীমানা পুনর্নির্ধারণের জন্য গঠিত হয়।
আজ পর্যন্ত গঠিত চারটি কমিশন হলো:
(১) ১৯৫২ — সীমানা পুনর্নির্ধারণ কমিশন আইন ১৯৫২-এর অধীন প্রথম কমিশন।
(২) ১৯৬২ — ১৯৬১ সালের আদমশুমারির পর দ্বিতীয় কমিশন।
(৩) ১৯৭২ — ১৯৭১ সালের আদমশুমারির পর তৃতীয় কমিশন।
(৪) ২০০২ — সীমানা পুনর্নির্ধারণ আইন ২০০২-এর অধীন চতুর্থ কমিশন, যার কাজ ২০০৮ সালে সমাপ্ত হয়।
২০২০ সালে কেন্দ্রশাসিত অঞ্চল জম্মু ও কাশ্মীর এবং উত্তর-পূর্বাঞ্চলীয় রাজ্যগুলির (আসাম, অরুণাচল প্রদেশ, মণিপুর, নাগাল্যান্ড) জন্য বিশেষভাবে একটি পঞ্চম কমিশন গঠিত হয়েছিল, তবে এটি একটি জাতীয় কমিশনের পরিবর্তে একটি আঞ্চলিক সীমিত পরিসরের কমিশন।
২০২৩ সালের ডিসেম্বর পর্যন্ত অফিশিয়াল সূত্রে স্বীকৃত প্রমিত সংখ্যা হলো চারটি।
