Total expenditure 15.0 and non-debt receipts 9.4. Fiscal deficit?
Instructions
Type the answer as a per cent of GDP, digits only.

Explanation

Revenue deficit = revenue expenditure - revenue receipts = 11.8 - 9.2 = 2.6. Primary deficit = fiscal deficit - interest payments = 5.6 - 3.6 = 2.0. Fiscal deficit = total expenditure - (revenue receipts + non-debt creating capital receipts) = 15.0 - 9.4 = 5.6. All three are per cent of GDP, from the 2024-25 figures.
