A ball is thrown straight upwards. At the very top of its path, what is true of its energy?

1. Your hand gives the ball movement energy as you throw it. 2. As the ball rises it slows down, losing movement energy. 3. That energy is not lost, it is stored because the ball is higher above the ground. 4. At the very top the ball stops for an instant, so movement energy is at its lowest. 5. Stored energy is therefore at its greatest at that moment. 6.
