What do we show loyalty to when we say the Pledge of Allegiance?

1. The Pledge of Allegiance is a promise of loyalty spoken while facing the flag. 2. Saying it shows loyalty to the flag and to the United States. 3. The loyalty runs to the country itself, not to any one person or office. 4.
