1. List incomes in increasing order: 16500, 17000, 17500, 18000, 18600, 19500, 21000, 21050, 21700, 22000, 175000. 2. With 11 values, the median is the middle (6th) value. 3. Sixth value in order is 19 500. 4. So the median is 19 500 rupees. 5.
