For gases only, the molecular weight is given in the notes by

A$\text{Molecular weight} = \text{V.D.}$
B$\text{Molecular weight} = \dfrac{\text{V.D.}}{2}$
C$\text{Molecular weight} = 2 \times \text{V.D.}$
D$\text{Molecular weight} = 22.4 \times \text{V.D.}$
Answer & Solution
Correct answer: C. $\text{Molecular weight} = 2 \times \text{V.D.}$
The formula list states: Mol. Wt. $= \text{V.D.} \times 2$ for gases only. Hence molecular weight is twice the vapour density.
