If P(2, 3) is shifted 4 units right and 1 unit down, the new co-ordinates are
A(6, 2)
B(2, 2)
C(6, 4)
D(-2, 2)
Answer & Solution
Correct answer: A. (6, 2)
1. Move right by 4 adds 4 to x: 2 + 4 = 6.
2. Move down by 1 subtracts 1 from y: 3 - 1 = 2.
3. So new co-ordinates are (6, 2).
4. Hence option A is correct.
