A near-sighted person can see only objects nearer than:

1. The far point of a normal eye is at infinity. 2. In myopia, the far point shifts closer to the eye. 3. Objects beyond the far point form blurred images. 4. A near-sighted person therefore cannot see beyond his far point. 5.
